how low should i drop my car, i am lowering it next week, please post pics!

hey guys, i got 600 bucks to burn so i decided that i should lower my car because it really needs to get lowered so anyway, my mechanic has a brand new pair of koning shocks which will drop my car about 2 more inches, i was wondering if anybody has any pics they can post here that have pics of thier cars lowered an inch or 2, lets put this way how low should i drop her? i really do want it to be very low to the ground, so how many inches can i drop with those konings? post some pics i want to see some lowered fd's with the replies thanks!

2" is WAY TOO LOW. I've got Eibach springs on my car, lowering it about 3/4-1" total. I wouldn't want to go any lower. The ride will become really harsh and you won't be able to pull in and out of even the most gentle driveway.

Of course if you don't care about ride, etc, remember it won't handle for **** either being that low.

I don't know which springs you are using with your konis (hopefully not stock if you are gonna lower it). I have konis w/ Eibach pro-Kit (supposedly 1" drop).

At first i used the lowest perches front and rear. Looked super cool... but was virtually undrivable. Don't try it.

I have the konis on the highest setting in front, and the middle setting in the rear now. Thats just about right, and what i'd reccomend of you DO have the Eibachs.

that one pic their the car doesnt really look any lower than its stock status, post some pics with the car dropped 2inches, i really want the low to the ground look, and a very small space from the wheel and the fender, i kinda want the weel to be almost toucing the top of the fender, that low is what i am talking about, how many inches well that require?

Personally..I don't think this car needs lowering too much.

Unlike some cars (WRX & Celica) it doesn't have these HUGE gaps inbetween the wheels.

All you need is a good kit to fill up the space, and you're good to go.

You can tell that car is lowered by the rear gap, but it's not noticable a normal person.

My car is lowered around 2" if not more, however mine seemed to sit up higher stock then most other FD's.
