how to get 8/6 springs

I'm interested in getting these for my FD R2:
Tein DSM50-KUSS2 Super Street Coilovers

The springs are 12/10

Where can i get 8/6 springs for those coilovers?

Should I just get 8/6 springs for the stock dampers? Eibach? got any part numbers? I'm not sure what to get.

if you wanna keep it cheap, toguefactory sells stance springs. or you can probably buy them on ebay.

if you actually care about how accurate the rates are, go with eibach or hyperco. just google it to find vendors.

either way, you can use any 2.5" or 60mm ID springs.

I ordered 6k & 8k Tein springs from Group 5 Motorsports. You might want to read my thread before dealing with them though.

ground control is the west coast distributor for eibachs, and they are right nearby. eibach makes any spring size and rate you can imagine, and some you cant.

you need to know the diameter (60mm as mentioned above?), and length, rate you already know

I can supply you with the Tein springs. They are special order however and take a couple months to get here.

Keep in mind the SS with OEM FD uppermounts uses a taper spring, so a straight spring will not work on them.

howard coleman notes:
432 front and 378 rear. 25" ground to fender lip

REAR: Eibach Springs, 0700.250.0325 (7"free, 2.5"diam, 325lbs~=6k)
FRONT: Eibach Springs, 0700.250.0450 (7"free, 2.5"diam, 450lbs~=8k)

fwiw, I am running Tein Flex w/ 8k/6k spring rates. The flex come with 10k/8k springs so I simply purchased 2 6k springs and put the rear 8k's on the front and the new 6k's on the rear.

This might end up cheaper all said and done for you? Any Tein dealer should be able to get tein springs for you. I got mine from rx7store (I think?) 2 or 3 years ago.

Thought Id throw it out there for you
