Not sure, I'm sure they can be repaired but who knows what turn around time would be. I know that they won't custom engineer them here in the US.

I'm calling HKS today. I will find out.

As of March of this year, the shocks had to be sent to Japan to be rebuilt. Back then, the HKS USA guys were saying that they would have the capability to do it here in the near future. What near future means, I have no idea.

40oz,
Was that you who won those HKS Hipermax on ebay?

I was a little skeptical since it had some mileage on it, but the price seemed reasonable. I hope those shocks don't require a rebuild.

Yup, that was I who won ..

I've dealt with the seller who auctioned the coilovers before .. assured me that there was no need for a rebuild. I am only asking so I have references as to where i can get them rebuilt when they do go. $850 was a great deal. couldnt pass it up.

Any guy that rebuilds coilovers would be able to do them using other than HKS parts, (eg O rings etc)
