Smile Help w/FD wheel sizing PLS

I am looking into getting some 18" wheels for my FD.. and I have had my eye on the LE37K volks for a while now. I am trying to decide what width/offset to go with for the front and rear. Originally I was thinking of 18x8.5 +40 for the front and 18x9.5 +45 for the rear.. with 235/40 and 265/35 rubber respectively. I am also open to getting 18x9.0 all around possibly, but at what offset? Keeping the wheels appearing even (ie one not pushed in under the fender more than the other) is important, but so is not creating a condition that would promote tires rubbing! I know this has been beat to death on the forum, but I have done a search and read quite a bit.. I still feel more comfortable getting advice on someone with a little more expertise here than myself on such an $expensive$ puchase.

The odd thing, is I don't know which wheel/tire combo 1FAST7 ended up buying (1FAST7 was the thread starter). I think he likes the LE37Ks like you do?

Unfortunately, you can't get the LE in the 18,9.0. It will have to be the SE37K in gunmetal. I just found that out when I was setting up a 3000GT VR-4 this week. Had to order the SE gunmetals.

You're stuck with 8.5 and 9.5.

Sorry, rishie

I'd just go SE with the gunmetal. No polish lip but still incredibly gorgeous.
