Help me find some wheels.

I've been looking for the right set of wheels for some time now, but I am either being too picky or I just haven't found the right wheel. If I find a wheel that has a good design, I can not find the fitment I need.

What I need:
An all black wheel, no polished lip, no red stripe...just black
18x9-18x9.5 size
offset for FD
Simple design, nothing flashy

What I have looked at:
5zigen fn01r-c - I can't find these in the proper size without a stripe
axis super hiro - not many options on sizing, I don't like these too much
rota p45r - hard to find in proper offset
basically 5 spoke black wheels

I'm looking to spend 1500 or less (before tires).

Thanks,
Marques

Why not find the style and offset you like, then just get the wheels powder coated to black? If you are that picky (i.e. style, offset, color and price), it's very doubtful you'll get all those at the same time unless that price goes up to where you can do custom wheels.

Tough in the price range, you will get more value for your money if you go used. Check zilvia.net, supraforums, clublexus, our forum in the used wheel classifieds to see what you can get.

Powdercoating is definitely an option, but I was hoping to find something off the shelf. 1500 is not an absolute limit, but if I am going to be spending 2500-3000 on wheels they will most likely be ccw's.

the fn01r-c's mat black in 18x9.5 +45 should be pretty easy to get, just go to the 5zigen US site store and search for them

The fn01's are discontinued and hard to come by these days.

they've discontinued the fn01r-c and now have the fno1r-c hot version. these should be easy to get.

New/used doesn't matter, as long as they are in good shape. I've come to the conclusion that I am just going to need to powdercoat a profile/fit that I like. It seems like all the models that would work are discontinued, and it is impossible to find a black wheel without a pinstripe.

Look into the Wedsport line, Tire Rack now carries a couple of very nice models that might fit the bill for you.
