Help me decide which wheels to get!

My car is blk/red with 99 lip and rear spoilers and stock suspension, I'm planning to lower it eventually but not right away.

My choices are:

SSR competition in anthracite with machined lip
17x8 (15.5 lbs) with 235/45 all around ($2335 shipped)
OR
18x8.5 (17 lbs) with 235/40 ($2740 shipped)

Jspec OEM BBS wheels in gunmetal staggered ($2620 shipped)
17x8 front (17 lbs) with 235/45
17x8.5 rear (18 lbs) with 265/40

I don't care about the prices as they are pretty similar

What do you think?

I really like the BBS wheels, the problem is the width. With your SSR choices why not go a little wider in the rear? It makes the car look so much better.

I've got 17x8.5 F and 17x10 R and it makes the car look so much more aggressive, especially from the rear.

235's are too narrow for the rear, if your spending the $$ go wider.

Whatever you decide to go with just make sure the rims are nice and wide and have a nice size lip..

How does this staggered setup affect handling? Why didn't you go with 18 inch? I was trying to keep the same all around size so I can rotate the tires and also trying to avoid getting issues later when I install lowering springs, I don't want to roll fenders...
