Help me choose a new suspension...please!
I like the way the stock touring suspension feels for daily driving (taking girlfriend out to dinner, etc.), but I am also looking to start autocrosing my car a couple times a month. I have no clue what the differences are between the different shock/spring or coilover systems out there.
On my previous FD, I had the tokico 5-way adjustables with votgland springs. I was fine with them , but for some reason, someone got the idea stuck in my head that I need coilovers for better handling at the autoX. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Again, I'd like a smooth as possible ride for local use, but a system I'll be happy with at the track too. I know I want the best of both worlds, which isn't so easy, but The best combination would be good to have!
Thanks in advance for all your help,
Ian

Check into the Tein Flex. They're very comfortable on the street, and you have the option to stiffen them up a bit for the track. The spring rates are 10kg front/8kg rear so they're not really hardcore, but defintely the most comfortable coilover if you dont want to bounce around on the street.
