So We completed my v8 swap a few months ago and we ended up instead of buying either kid we modified the existing rx7 sub frame to make the engine fit. well in this process the neither the steering rack nor any of its components were moved all. The car does have lowering springs are there any ideas as to why my car has bump steer and any advice on getting rid of it??

I want to end up taking the car to the track but I dont want to lose control of her by hitting a rock or something any advice is very much appreciated.

Have you checked the alignement of the car? That would be my first guess. The heavier weight of the motor will cause the car to sit lower than before, which will cause a change in the alignement.

I have had the car alligned but not by anyone I trust I will check that out asap.. any other ideas??

Describe your symptoms and when they occur. If you haven’t moved the rack or tie rods then something else must be wrong. What size wheel and tires and what offset are you running? Low offset wheels dicks up your scrub radius and makes the car darty and want to follow road imperfections.

You haven't mentioned what car this is (FB/FC/FD), what V8 engine you swapped in, what wheel offset you are running, or how much it is lowered. We are not mind readers...

if you didn't move the rack and are running stock front uprights you do not have a bumpsteer problem.

Sorry guys its an LS6 engine into an FD. The stock rims and tires so to crazy wheels or anything. the car has lowering springs and is lowerd an inch and a half or so ill have to find out that for sure what spings they are. the car drives fine if the road is smooth and it handles like a dream but when im making a hard turn and I hit a bump in the road the steering wheel just loses resistance and it darts in the direction im turning.

Lowering a car will often set up a bump steer problem, as the steering rack is at a new height vis a vis the 'normal' ride height (vertical position) of the wheel.

There are bump steer gauges (about $170, google it), and a bump steer correction kit at Mazdatrix (see their website).

Yeah I dont want the car lowered anyways I think it looks just fine at the origional ride height maybe put some clean sideskirts on the car but whats a good aftermarket suspension upgrade?? coilovers?? idk to much about anything with suspension anyone know what I should do. I want to spend 500-700$ on decent aftermarket suspension..

Well, if you have gained any weight from the LS6 swap coilovers are the best way to be able to try a higher spring rate for the front and dial the damping to suit.

I don't know what the LS6 weighs but from what I have gleaned-

Stock 13B-REW with ALL accessories and fluids = 425lbs

I have read LS1 = 490lbs.

Not a huge difference but if you put 75lbs in the hatch of an FD you WILL be able to feel the affects of the weight.
