HELP! Broke my Feed Gas adjustment valve
I discovered that I installed my rear feed coilovers backwards. Part of the upper control arm where the bottom part of the coilover mounts was hitting against the "valve"where you would fill it up with nitrogen. I decided to take if off and replace it, like I've done in the past on Porsche Cup cars. When I started taking it out the threads broke off in the actual shock body.
So I have a few possibilities.
1. Try to find a Feed service shop in the US or Japan.
2. Have a skilled professional tig weld a new valve on there, sacrificing the internals of the shock.
3. Run the shock with no gas pressure and have no dampening.
4. Buy 2 new rear coilovers or a whole new set.
They have a pretty stiff spring on them 18k front and rear, would I even be able to notice the lack of dampening?
Any suggestions of ideas you have would be great.
