Hawk HPS or EBC GreenStuff brake pads?
Just curious if someone has any experience with these two products. As soon as I get my taxes back, I'll be getting a brake upgrade, and I'd like to get some consumer feedback. Thanks.

I have the EBC greens on my car and am very happy with them. However, they do seem to wear faster than the stock pads. I am thinking of replacing them with the next step up in the EBC line, but I don't believe those pads (red or black, can remember which) have the same low dust/noise characteristics of the greens.

EBC Kevlar pads here, they work great. I'd recommend them, have not had them long so not sure how fast they wear down yet but its worth replacing them more often to have them. Definatly a quality product.

That happened to me with the Red Stuffs.
I've since learned to not be so hard with the brakes.

You're supposed to be hard on the brakes on the track! I too blew up a set of EBC greens at VIR. I had more than half the material left when I started and had the backing plates against the rotors after about 25 minutes. They were awesome on the street though, and were awesome on the track right up until the point that the pad material ran out.
