Have an idea of where the noise is coming from?

Well, Currently my FC is out of action but I'll describe the noise.

When ever I am going very slow and turn the wheel more than 80% and when I apply the brakes to stop I hear a clack like noise from the drivers front.

It almost sounds ilke a brake pad shifting or something but it's not the strut tower bearing or the brakes.

I can only guess the steering rack.
It possible? maybe a bushing?

Anyone have this happen before?

If you need a better description I can try again.
