Question Racing Beat engine brace

Has anyone using the racing beat engine brace noticed a large difference after installing it? I know it supposed to creat a difference in first gear and reverse as far as the shutter issue, but does it make any other differences that are noticeable?

I think you need to do a search in the 3rd gen section. There are a lot of threads on engine braces in there. I think most people call them "engine torque braces" though.

Several different people have made their own version of these braces along with several companies who actually manufacture them.

From what I know about them they tend to improve your shifting and reduce the possibility of missing gears. The downside is that if you have a bad motor mount then it will rattle really bad after installing this brace. Some people have had issues with the brace itself vibrating and rattling when you are just setting at idle.

I would suggest you go with the dampered version of the brace rather than a solid mount brace based on what little I know about them. But don't take my word for it. Do a search and see what you come up with.
