Have 18x7.5 C5s. What tire?

I have a set of 18x7.5 Racing Hart C5s. All same size wheels. My FD isn't lowered, what size tires should I use? I've tried to read all the tire sizing websites, they only give me a headache, so please help. Thanks.

In all honesty you should sel those wheels and get something that's 8.5" wide for the FD. Putting a front wheel drive wheel on the car is not a good idea.

Regardless, Mazda engineered the stock wheel width to be 8". You should use that as a baseline. Are these RH or Racing Hart?

Racing Hart. They're the older model.

I really wouldn't reccomend it. It's a beautiful wheel but just not so good for FD. You can put 9's all the way around on that thing. Even wider. But if you must use them you're stuck with a 225/40/18. They will look sunk in the fender in the rear.

I agree with Rishie. Sell those suckers and get something wider.....it'll look very odd in the back. Plus, if you're going to make some good horsepower in the future, you will need the extra traction.....

HAHAHA. Ya guess so. I'd say we've earned it. lol. **** I'd take us all out for beers if we were within like 90 miles of each other. lol. That's about an hour's travel. hehe. Staying within reason. I'm only running a GTUs you know, it's loud.

Wurd, Peace out,

I guess I'll sell it with my 3000GT. Now looking at Super Advan Generation II or RDsport S5 wheels. Man, they are sweet!

At least now we're talking. Let me know when you decide. The RD can't be light. They're european. hehe. Let me know. There might be some other options too.

Peace, Rishie
