H&R vs. Tein S-Tech
H&R vs. Tein S-Tech
All right, looking at getting some springs to drop and stiffen up my car with the stock Touring shocks. I know the H&R drops 1.25 in front and rear, and the Tein drops 1.4 front, 1.3 rear. I don't want the Eibach because of the jacked up rear look. What I want to know is, are these springs linear or progressive rate? I'm not concerned with the price difference between them, I just want to know which ones will handle better. Thanks!
I love my s-techs. They make the car feel even better now. Like the stock suspension was designed for them. I think the stock shock life span will be shorter with the stiffer springs, but my R1 shocks havent had any issues yet. I feel these are an excellent bang for the buck at $170.
anyone else running S Techs specially with tokicos illuminas on their Fd?
436 fr 1.4 drop 324 Rr 1.3 drop.
H&R drop 1.25 all around and 25-30% stiffer......
which one should I go with, I'm starting to track my car regularly.

any rubbing?
I'm using 17x8 35mm 225/45 tires and rubbing on the inside fender well with racing beat springs when I'm coming into mid corner.
Just trying to figure out which springs will to buy.
Thanks,

I would probably go with Koni's and RS*R Race springs IMO for a non-coilover setup.
