Group Buy on any VRacing: TE/SE 37's etc.

I got a hold of one of the few wholesale distributors for Volk Racing. I would like to know who is interested and what the average selling price of these wheels are in a 17,8.5 and 9.5, as well as the 18's in the same widths. Once I get this info., I can assess if he has given us a deep enough of a deal.

Stipulation: I must get 10 sets to get a good buyin. If I can get together five sets, I will purchase the other five with my own money. The less money out of my pocket means more money in yours.

Thanks Guys,
Rishie

Blue TII,

I thought I might give you a cheaper alternative. Considering you're getting a 15" TE, your not interested in aesthetics as much as functionality. My suggestion would be a Kosei K1. This is a great rim and you can get it in a 16*8.5 R and a 7.5F in the front. These are extremely light and affordable. They are shotpeened and a strong rim. Those sizes only come in silver. Check them out on tirerack.com.

Are you autocrossing or dragging? I'll get some good tire suggestions depending on the use.

I'll still get you prices on the VR though. They are hella slow at returning phone calls, but I'll get through.

Thanks, Rishie

The SE-37A's are silver with a polished or machined lip. They are not black anodized as the ones we are used to seeing. The SE-37A is what they have in stock and has better show and is still light as hell.

Thanks Rishie

Hmmm, I thought Kosei K1s in 15x7 were 13.75Lbs? That isn't comparable to 9Lbs for the TE-37... I think I would get Enkei RP-01s if I was looking for a 15x7 in the 14Lb range 'cause I like the looks. Cost, umm- yes Volks are very pricey; what kinda price break would we get? I was thinking under $1500 would be nice for the 15s...

Race? No I am just a fool who wants to spend more on rims and tires than I got the car for.

I might be in for some se37k's or se37k's if you can get those, looking for either one of them in preferably a bronze finish, but also looking at maybe either one in a charcoal finish if they are available, but I need prices before I can decide...

I have been looking at the se37k's in a 17x9 17x8.5 last price i got from a local shop was around i think $550 for each rim and I think over 3k with tires. Rims are very nice, but that is a lot of money. has anyone seen the se37k's on a 3rd gen? a pic might help me make up my mind. I still dont know what color wheel to go with, my car is montego blue. I have been looking at the enkei rp01's I would still like to know the price on a group buy tho.

I'm interested in volk te37's w/ antracite/gunmetal color for 3rd gen.

I have seen white and bronze going for 450/470 for 17x8.5/9.5s.

Any pricing so far?

btw, i was thinking of the ssr compeitions, which is similar in looks and weight to the te37's however, upon seeing them in a picture online, it's just not as appealing anymore... what you guys think?
http://www.taner.net/pics/s4/ssr/

perhaps it's b/c it's not on a FD=)

Thanks
Frank

It's not that they haven't called me back at this point. I am collecting the descriptions and sizes. I have yet to receive my catalogue and price sheet in the mail. I don't want to be calling them everyday for a different color or size or to check availablilty constantly.

I keep pretty busy and am trying to do this as efficiently as possible. I apologize for not responding consistently, I have been checking this post everyday and collecting descriptions. Prices and availablity will be available this week.

Sorry for the delay.

I got a list of 12 potentials, and have enough variation to make the call tommorrow. I will dedicate the whole day to just doing this as it is my day off, kinda. Sorry for the delay once again, but patience is a virtue and it will pay off, I mean pay you. hehe.

Thanks, Rishie
