OK, I got these rims from www.tires.com back in July '03. The model is the Konig Imagine 18x8.5

I ordered them in Gunmetal but they came in Silver. For all this time, I just thought that the Gunmetal color looked a lot darker in the picture. Over the weekend, I saw a car with the same rims only the spokes were A LOT darker than mine!

Now I want to fix this. I want to paint the spokes darker like I wanted in the first place.

What is the best way to go about this?

Are they multi-piece wheels (I see the fasteners, but some wheels have fake ones just for the looks)? If so, take them apart and get the centers powdercoated.

my girlfriend has the same wheels on her prelude. we've changed the color on them twice now. some sandpaper, good masking tape, and some quality spray paint will get the job done quite nicely

 

thanks spoolin. wasnt sure if good quality spray paint would do the trick or not.

i think ill try it when i actually have a weekend of free time (prob not anytime soon.....)
