and I'm wondering why the rear rotors are so much more than the fronts? (more than double in this case) Just curious.

Mind posting a link to where you're looking? The rears always cost more, but I've never seen a discrepancy that large.

I am getting them from my co-worker's uncle who works at a brake distributor so they are discounted. The fronts are $20 per rotor and the rears are $58 per. They are Raybestos premium grade (pretty much the same as OEM pads I believe). The pads are $32 for the fronts and $18 for the rears (Raybestos premium also).

Ugh! Raybestos?

Are the rotors vented?

Get some decent pads, man, this is a sports car, not an Accord!

Raybestos makes some good stuff. Just make sure the rotors aren't made in China, but I don't think Rabestos uses Chinese drums and rotors. Chinese cast iron is not very good. Brembo uses good cast iron so Brembo rotors are less likely to warp, crack, develop hard spots or wear out as readily as Chinese ones. If Raybestos made their Super Stop pad to fit an FC I'd buy them. I used Super Stop pads on my old road racing Dodge and they worked better than carbon metallic pads. The fade resistance was slightly better, but the wear was at least 5x better.

Brembo has a part number listed for FD rear rotors, but I don't think they actually make any.

Its true, Brembo doesnt make any rear rotors for the FD. A Italian company named Bradi makes them, and are supposed to be the exact replicas of the Brembos...
