GAB Super-R Street settings -- R2 FD
GAB Super-R Street settings -- R2 FD
Hi everyone.
GAB Super-R's were on my R2 FD when I bought it. I've never played with the settings. The rest of the suspension is all stock R2.
I've seen many mention their autox settings w/various springs, but what do you guys running this setup do to tame the ride for street use?
I've seen the graphs on Steve Cirian's site and I realize "tame" and "GAB Super-R" shouldn't be in the same sentance.
Rather than discuss detailed mass-spring-dashpot physics, I'm looking more for specific settings and observations. Like, does running "1's" on all 4 corners cause stability issues (I'm more concerned gross over/understeering tendancies)? Is 2 or 3 front / 1 rear better for predictability while being soft as possible?

On the street I ran 8's in the front and 7's on the rear, that way when i go to the track, I don't have to change the configuration. Obviously if you don't plan on any "spirited" driving on the street just leave them at 1
