GAB Super R making shhhht-shhhhht sound

I have the rear interior out, and I hear the passengers side shock clear as day, soulds like a hand bike tire pump shhhht-shhhhht, every time the shock moves, I cant hear the drivers side at all.... Does that mean the shock is bad, any one know if it can be fixed?

Are the GAB-R's twin tube?

My JIC SF1's do that and someone else mentioned that their Tokico's do that as well. I was told that it is normal for "twin tubes" to make that noise. Since the car is a hatchback, it's easy to hear the rears. I have no idea if the Gab Super R's are a twin tube design.

That's correct. It's typical of twin tube dampeners.
