full pillow bushing vs. nylon?

Hey list,

Question on rather full pillow bushings (FEED's) or nylon (n-tech performance's?)?

For the circuit (no drag!), NOT for daily driving, Full race? Is there anything better other than those two, besides those expensive ball joint sus. arms!

The full pillow looks like they have rubber in them, true or not true?

thanks

Post pics or links to pics.

Another option is Mazdaspeed bushings, which are stock style with stiffer rubber. Some of the pillow ***** are rubber mounted in the stock suspension. This isn't as crazy as it sounds -- you get very little sitffness in some directions (the ones you don't want stiffness in) as the ball moves in its socket, and greater stiffness in other directions as the rubber deforms.

Feed's bushings (they look rubber, but i don't know)

Manufactured from glass fiber reinforced nylon 6/6, this material was chosen for its resistance to automotive fluids, low (2%) hygroscopic properties (water absorption) compared to Delrin, stronger than Delrin, retains "memory" better than Delrin (returns to the same shape after deflection over and over) and it has ideal elasticity while still being stiff enough to force the suspension to cycle linearly. In other words, it'll give under a hard jolt, but will totally eliminate the "slop" that Urethane or rubber bushings introduce. This is a full set, replacing all front and rear control arm bushings, as well as the differential bushings. They increase steering feel and shorten response time to steering inputs, as well as lowering wheel hop tendancies under accelleration. Used on Project N-Tech. Call us for info on other 'bushings' which should be replaced.
