Front swaybar shifting

New suspension on my FD a month ago. Last night at low speed turn and hard braking there was a "sproong" sound of tension loading/unloading somewhere. I checked the Tanabe front sway bar and found one side sitting at an angle (not 90 degrees) to the control link. It looks like the swaybar moved laterally through the bushings a small amount. Is it normal to have small amounts of lateral movement as the bushings break in?

I am not familiar with this particular sb but all other front sb I have been using (stock, RB, ST) either have collars to avoid lateral shifting or have their arms bent right at the bushings, which also prevent the bar from shifting.
