Fitting 315s on stock body FD
Errr, wait a minute. I think the offset is 47.5. I don't really care though, offset is the stupidest thing ever. Measure by backspace and all will be 10x easier.
As an update since I've been running this setup for a while now.
My current setup looks like this:
Front, 285/30/18 A6, 14k spring, -2.6 camber, 5.5 caster, 0 toe.
Rear, 315/30/18 A6, 12k spring, -2.4 camber, 0 toe.
I've raised the ride height numerous times to try and keep the tires off the plastic liners up front, and off the metal inner liners in the rear. I've yet to get it high enough to keep it off the liners. I will likely try 16k/14k springs next season and hope I can get hte car down a bit in ride height to get the CG a bit lower again. I think I'm sitting right around 25.875" front, 26.125" rear from ground to fender arch. I didn't measure last time I raised it up, I just cranked each corner two turns on my ride height adjustable brackets, so I may be off a bit on the ride height numbers.
The front tire fits quite well.
The rear tire rubs quite a bit of things, all minor and not worrisome. The front inside (of the rear tire) rub a bit on the metal inner liners up front, and thats after bashing it in a bit with a hammer. The back inside of the tire rubs on the plastic gas tank shield. Minor contact there. The top outside of the tire rubs on my flattened fender lips. Just enough to make a slightly shiny spot on the rubber, not even wearing it at all. The inside front rubs on the trailing arm leaving a shiny spot on the trailing arm. Not enough contact to heat up the trailing arm, or anything like that. Basically its rubbing all over inside, outside, front, rear of the tire. But not enough to cause any issues other than some minor rub marks. Talk about shoehorning that in there.
