Fitting 235/45/17 on a 17x8.5

I'm looking to get new wheels for my FC with stock suspension and Im not sure If I should go 225, 235 or 245 on a wheel thats 17x8.5. I dont want a stretched look and not an extreme straight flush look but somewhere in between more on the almost flush side. Which tire width would work with my FC and wheel?

From what I know, for 8.5 rims, 235 would be the best to go with. However, it would depend on the tire you get, all brands and models will be different.

Some 235 may be wider than others, so it's really hard to determine if it's a perfect fit to your preference.

Here are two guides you can take a look at:

Im getting Nexen N3000s. Maybe that would help? The chart helps a little but taking what you said into consideration, that opened up for further investigation. And the offset is +35 for the wheel.
