The volks look nice, but they're also 18's. 18" Fikses would be about as nice as one could ask for.

I'd need 20 $250 consultation customers to buy a set of 17-inch Fikse Profil 13s. Probably will never happen. Enjoy your Fikses, Peter!

Fikses have ALWAYS been my first choice. At $800 per wheel for Profil 13s, there's no way I could afford them.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just kind of got lucky and ran across an awesome deal on some used ones. It's not too often that people sell them, let alone in the size I wanted. So I had no option but to take it

BTW, great choice on the wheels ptrhahn. Your car looks sweet with them! I like the way those sizes sit on there. Do you have any rubbing issues with those offsets?

No rubbing...

The rear is a particularly aggressive fitment (the rears are actually 11.125" wide lip to lip) and you'd swear it would rub looking at it, but it definately doesn't, even w/ the 275/40's.

Particularly on a silver car, they're alot flashier than the SSRs, and I get alot more attention!

I have the Fikse MachV's on my red '7. They're similiar to the Profil 13, just fewer radials.

Nice, Pete! And BTW, thanks for the info in your PMs to me regarding these wheels. I ended up picking a set of FM/5s and when I get new skins on I'll post pics.

To pull off the Le-28n's you need cross drilled rotors and a big brake kit.

The stock brakes and rusty rotors just don't do it for me on overly open wheeled wheels like that.

Fronts are 17x8.5, rear is 17x9.5. It seems to be a good combination for a 3rd gen '7 but you could go a bit wider. I had posted a few shitty pics of the wheels in another thread:

One of these days I'll have to get a good digital camera that will do these wheels justice.
