Any body have experience running these tires ?
Federal 595 RS-R High Performance Tire
Im thinking on running them on the fronts for autocross . I have kumho ecsta 711s which really like but have a separated belt in the front from sitting to much :/and you cant get them any more . Looking for something alittle better . I have 195/50 15s in front and 225/50s rear .

Yes, I loved my Federal 595 RS-Rs!
I ran them a couple of auto-x seasons ago on my FD in ASP (265/35-18 on 18x10.5) and drove it on the streets as well and then finished them off on my RX-8.
This year I ran Hankook Z221 DOT-Rs and was a little faster, but missed the consistent performance of the RS-Rs and their awesome turn in.
The quality isn't the best with tread cap separation (it does not affect performance), constant smell and lots of weights to balance, but I loved the performance and longevity.
I got a couple other racers hooked on them in my area.
One races an EF Civic and used the 205/50-15 size and the turn in response isn't as great in this fitment on his 15x6.5. Probably feel great on 15x8.

Awesome thanks thats great to here , i have 15x7s in the front and 8s in the rear . The only thing is no 225/50 15s but i can run 195/50s in the front for now burn off the ecstas . The 205s alittle to small for the rear . I run out of gear on the top 6500 118 mph with225s in the 1/4 but may swap from 3.73 gears to 3.31s soon .
