FD's left-side heavy ?

I am corner-balancing my dual-purpose FD, and have been able to get both the cross-balance and the front-to-rear balance to 50/50 with driver inside.

However, I cannot get the sides balanced (left-to-right), and the total off is about 170-lbs. (85-lbs. per corner).

I think this is why, the car at the track feels better with a passenger.

Based-upon my limited reading, you cannot ADD more weight by "jacking" up the car, or in this case, increasing the ride-height of the side that is light (Right side on my FD).

Aside from adding ballast, any thoughts on this ?

Would it make sense to reeplace the right-side coil-springs that are 80-lbs. stronger (RIGHT side only) ?

Thanks,
:-) neil

BTW: I've attached my corner-balancing sheet.

i think the FD is pretty good stock, the 1st gens have the same problem though. stock you have the heavy exhaust, and turbo to counterbalance the driver/battery/brake master/ steering/ac

ultimately you're kind of stuck with the driver/brakes on the same side with nothing to counter it, except the battery?

The fuel tank is on the left side of the car as well as the driver. That might be why it is off. I guess JDM cars do not have this problem because of the driver seated on the other side of the car.

I think the driver has more to do with it than anything. I have a fuel cell that is centered in my FD, and still had the same issue.

The fuel tank is pretty well centered.
