FD wheels on a FC

I know this question had been asked a lot of times, but at that time I didnt have the FD wheels. Now I do, here is my question. On the K2RD website, i read that i have to get a spacer. Well that's no problem. I just have to draw one out and have the boys out there to make one. The concern i have is that do I have to get new lugs and nuts because when you put a 20mm, the lug will be doing a lot more work, would it be worth it to change to longer lugs? Car will be raced on the 15 inch wheels, but FD wheels for the street

You really should get the longer studs because there won't be much for the nuts to hold onto. You would probably want spacers in the rear because the wheels will look funny without them.

will you be making a hubcentric spacer? If not, that is alot of stress to be placing on the lug nuts.

I currently have FD rims on my car and am using 25mm hubcentric spacers all around.... the only problem i have is the front tire hitting the fender over bumps, which was almost eliminated after i installed a front stabablizer bar.

Matt, can I have a picture of what your car looks like with those wheels?

Well I know I will need a spacer for sure, I am going to start drawing one right now and let the boys at the machine shop make it. I will be making a 20mm out of aluminum. Did you replace your lugs and lug nuts?

Just to let y'all know, the longer studs are $5 a pop from Speedsource in Florida, which was the only place I could find that sells them.

I needed spacers and studs for the front for my 86 in autocrossing, and I used to have the problem with the wheel rubbing the outer fender until I got a camber-adjustment kit from Ground Control...no problems since.

OK.... You don't need longer studs.
H&R sells 25mm spacers that have their own studs.
