Fd Wheel size?

I looked at the chart I found and it doesn't have these size tires on it and I searched a little but just want to make sure of what I found. The guy says they will work on a fd but I think there will be rubbing and the offset is too low. Also I think that the speedo will need to be recalibrated. Anyone know?
17x8 +35 all around with 235/40/17 tires

At 8" wide, the stock offset is +50. The closer to +50 at 8" wide you are, the better off you'll be...

They'll fit but it's not ideal at all. The tires are the wrong size too, those are almost an inch shorter in diameter than stock.
