Is the FD "vintage" looking enough to wear Panasports?
Hi
I did some searching and could not find anything.
Any opinions on how a spoiler-less FD would look with some Panasports, Rota RBs, Superlites or similar (Wantanabe ..sp?)
Any pictures? Maybe they dont make a 17 in the right offset but I think there is a 3 piece wheel in this style available some where that could be custom made.
I would want to run 17x9.5 or 10 with 275/40s in the rear and 245 or 255s in the front.
Any body have photo-shop skills and time to do it?

Hmm They do look great on the Miata....I forgot how similar some aspects of the styling are between the two cars.
I dont know, it might be really nice, I saw a 240z recently with 17" Rota RBs with a good "lip" and it looked fabulous.
I am going to post some photos and see if some one can photo shop.

Yah but the whole reason I play with cars is to get validation from other GUYS....Maybe I need a shrink.
Any way hoping someone else had done this and had a picture.
Thats my Light blue Porsche up there, I had this style of wheel on it. Always been a fan.

Savanna Rx-7
the watanabe's look great on an FD and you can get them currently in +30, +35, +40 offsets with anything else being special order (price plus a small fe for special run) I put them on my friends FD years ago, and plan on doing the same to mine fairly soon.

Here is another view, a little closer to the FD with the "G nose"...am I too old to drive a car that looks like this? I just love it. Will people think I am a punk?

Watanabe comes through with some pics!
Wow great guys super customer service.
Enjoy!
They do look good, I would want a bit more dish like the Z so I guess I would have to go custom. They are almost $500 per wheel off the shelf so not going to happen right away. I dont know If I start into that price range I could probably find some used FIKSE's or even new CCWs.
