fd with tokico shocks

I'm going to buy tokico shocks for my fd, but I don't really know wich springs to buy... It's for street use, any suggestions?

And can anyone show me some pics of an fd lowered with tokicos?

Here is my car with tokicos in the front (not sure the back) with the stock springs?

The car clears no problem even when i had the 18s up there (18x8 with a +35 offset). However when going up an incline with the wheels turned, it would rub a bit. But other than that, even with hard braking etc etc, it would not rub.

Let me also add that my car rides HORRIBLY lol. Im almost certain its because the suspension im running now is either **** or worn or shitty and worn lol.

Im really leaning towards some tein coilovers over the winter.

There are a few pics. Just keep in mind, the Tokicos don't lower your car, the spring does.

Mahjik is running RSR race springs iirc.

For street use, I'd recommend the Eibach or H&R springs. I'm using H&R springs on stock shocks and they're OK.

I personally prefer Koni shocks over the Tokico b/c they have the height adjustable spring perches and I just like the way they feel over the Tokicos. I used them back to back on an FC I had many years ago and liked the way the Konis felt better. My .02 cents.

Actually, they are the Tein S-Tech springs. Unforunately, the RSR Race Springs weren't available when I got mine. If I could justify switching to them, I would. However, I have come to loath changing springs out... It seems to be the most time consuming and monotonous task you can do on this car.

Oops. Glad you corrected me. I thought for sure you were on RSRs.

I hear you on changing the springs! I did it twice a couple of months ago and it freakin took forever to compress them. Even using an electric wrench.

Steven, get in contact with me over MSN or mail. I got a good price for my yellow Koni's.

The 3 way adjustable perch on the Koni's is really easy to adjust so you can still fool around with the ride height.

Remember the technical checks every year here in belgium. You need at least 9cm of ground clearance.
