FD Suspension Removal Question
Wondering if there's a trick to removing the 14mm nut on the top of the strut (front and rear). Mine just spins and spins. Do I have to vice grip the shaft below or is there another trick?
TIA.

put the shock back into the shock tower and tighten the three bolts on the strut mount. Now try and loosen the 14mm bolt in the center. It should come loose. Loosen it but dont remove it completely if you have the stock springs in. Otherwise, if u do the spring will decompress and shoot off of the strut. if u have aftermarket lowering springs u will probably be able to take it off all the way. However, the safest way to do it with either setup is using a spring compressor. If you have one you could probably compress the springs and take out the 14 mm bolt also. I'm guessing that you have aftermarket springs already installed, because usually the stock springs are long enough so that they provide enought resistance to allow the shaft not to spin so you can remove the 14 mm. I found the first method i suggested a lot easier.
