Question FD Rim Sizing Questions: Widebody Application...

Hi,

So, I'm once again in the market for a new set of rims. I've already made a decision regarding the rims themselves, but I do need some help with proper sizing.

The wheels will be going on a burnout front/rear widebodied FD. I'm told the front fenders give an additional 20-25mm clearance while the rears give a 20mm clearance.

Here's my requirements:

-- 18" wheels

-- Front Width: Either 18x9F or 18x9.5F (Whichever fits better...I'd prefer the wider wheels if possible)

-- Rear Width: 18x10R

-- Tire Sizes: I was thinking tire sizes in the range of: 245-265 front and 275-295 rear.

-- I would ideally want to go as wide as possible with the BEST fitting offsets. These will be my daily driving wheels so I don't want to deal with any fitment issues at all. They need to be perfectly flush with the fender wall.

I'm hoping for some help determining correct offsets and tire sizes .

Thanks in Advance,
Rizwan

:O

Didn't you just pick up a set of Kenisis a while back or am I confused?

I think people run 18x10 F/R all the time.... I don't know the offsets off the top of my head though.

Your not confused...I did purchase those wheels and still have them. Those are 19" wheels though and I'm EXTREMELLY **** about them. I'll only be using those for shows and very nice summer days.

I need a set of 18" dailys that will fit my widebody, clear my brakes, and all the while look damnnn good

I think,

18x9.5 +30 and 18x10.0 +25 will be a good fitment for these fenders.

If you want 9's up front then a +25ish.
