I am contemplating the setup needed to put 335-18-30 Hoosiers on the rear of my autox FD.
The ideal backspacing is often stated at 7.5 inches, but I find that 7.25 inches provides better tire clearance of the Improved Racing trailing arms.
I know this because the current wheels are 7.5 inch backspace (18x10+50 with Hoosier 285-18-30) and a 6mm spacer is being used to provide some clearance.
Back to the 335's. Using the CCW Backspace Calculator an 18x12 wheel with 7.25 inches of backspace comes out to 18x12+19.
To you fitment guru's does, that seem correct?
How about others with 18x12 wheels, what offset/backspace are you using?

I know Jake Namer (S1mpsons, hamfist racing) is running the same Rota 18x12s I am on the back of his FD with 335/30/18 A6s.
They're +20s, I don't know if he has spacers on them or not. but he also has wider rear fenders. I would ping him,

That offset is made to order for the FD.

I have 18x11.5 rear +42MM offset. it comes very close to the stock rear trailing arm.
so 188MM you can go in. I am slightly stretching a 285/30/18 tire. with a 335 you will need less offset to bring the tire torwards the fender.
