Any running 295/30/18 on a 18×9 with a 38 offset

That sounds way too wide for a 9" wheel. If you look up tires on tirerack.com and click the spec tab it will give you a range of acceptable rim widths for a given tire and size. For that size the minimum it lists in many brands is a 10". 10.5" would probably be best for a nice square sidewall without bulging at the sides. 275/35 is about max whats recommended to fit a 9", with 255 probably being the ideal size with no stretch and no bulge.

I'm running a 295/30/18 on a 12.5" wide wheel. . .
and a 255/35/18 on a 10.5" wide wheel. . .

yeah. . .that's a little too fat for that wheel. . .
