FD ? - Corner-balancing/Alignment
Couple of questions:
1. On my '93, I recently modded my suspension, and wheels and tires. I installed a set of Ground Control coilovers (Eibach ERS over GAB Super Rs), 18" CCWs (9.5" fronts, 10" rears), corner-balanced it, and had it aligned.
I've discovered that I'm a little too low, keep scraping (more than a little) the front lip entering and leaving my driveway. Will I impact the alignment and/or the corner-balancing if I raise all four corners the same amount?
2. I am thinking about getting another set of street wheels/tires, and using the CCWs for the track, or vice-versa. What impact would mounting 17" wheels have on the corner-balancing and/or alignment?
Thanks

1. That may impact the alignment slightly, but perhaps not significantly if it is a small change. If you are careful to raise each corner the same amount, it will have zero effect on the corner balancing.
2. Very little, as long as the outer tire diameters and wheel offsets are not wildly different from the CCWs (like within a few inches, which they will surely be). The effect will be exactly zero if the wheel offsets and tire diameters happen to be exactly the same.
