FD can't get more than 2.7 caster

i just got car aligned by friend who is mgr at autocenter.
after making the front camber to -1.9 (left) and -2 (right), he could only get:
2.7 caster (left)
2.2 caster (right)

i've read 6 is recommended. i know neg camber is more important but is this cause for alarm? even the shops specified range is 5.1 to 7.1, so i'm out of that range by a lot. possible car was damaged? is there a way to fix? don't worry?

stock suspension, 245-45-16's all around.

He realizes that BOTH lower a-arm bolts are on eccentrics? Given the fact that he can get the camber into the car then I doubt the car was ever damaged. On the FD the more negative camber you put in the less caster you can get but there should be more available than what he's got now.
