FC Wheel rub with knuckles, cut or not to cut.

Hello guys, Car is a 88 fc. Ive had this drift car i built on the budget for the last few years and i just upgraded the front knuckles for more angle and i have ran into nothing but problems so far. I dont have any friends into the drift scene so im just figuring this out as i go (maybe im missing something?) To make a long story short i have solved about 100 of the problems already and now i am down to the final one (i hope). Rubbing....

I am getting rub at full lock both ways...I am rubbing on the lower control arm one way and i am rubbing on the inner fender well where the subframe is on the other. My question is to you guys. How much can i cut from that lower control arm if any and be safe and would you cut at all the area that is rubbing in the front. I do not want to tub or tube chassis the front end like alot of the hardcore people do just want to do the minimum needed to get this thing back on the track even if it means sacrificing some angle. I am no pro here was just looking for a little more angle.

My second option i was considering is some sort of stop so it does not reach full lock. Any suggestions?? I have tried all sorts of combos of different rims/tires i had laying around and also 2 different spacers.

please see my attached pics, I sprayed black spray paint on the surfaces so i could see exactly where they were rubbing. Thanks.

sway bar is just removed in this pic. The previous tie rod end was rubbing. Rubbing on the rotor is no longer a issue now. I have fitted 3 different sets on this car in the past week until i got a set that worked. Another one of those 100 other problems i have had lol.

The control arms are aluminum, I wouldn't cut them at all.

Powered by Max makes aftermarket control arms with more clearance and steering stops built in.

Since drifters are always wanting more steering angle...

Couldn't you just run a spacer or different offset wheel?

Have you thought about extented ball joints for s4 control arms or pbm lca? Both with help with adding angle. Pbm pushes the wheel 35mm out and 16mm forward allowing for more clearances at lock. I have been able to double stock angle just using pbm kit and 18x9.5 +5 wheels. [Tire selection as limits angle] Only problem ive seen is rubbing on front inner well. And once had inner seem in back eat a tire which was an easy fix by bending down the seem or just adjusting bump steer. I haven't tubbed front since this is still a street car.
