ya, those will work fine... My last set of wheels were OZ superlegarra's that were 17 x 8 w/ +40mm offset. They fit but the front was tight w/ 225-45. Remember, the smaller the offset number the more the wheel with stick out...So in theory you should have about 4mm gap up front....The rear is totally fine......I had 255's and 225's
I know have 17 x 9.5 and 17 x 9's up front

Anyone know the weight of a 17x8 SSR GPO?
My wife is asking if I want a set of SSR GPO when she come back from Japan. I really don't want to get rid of the Weds Fulmine 16x7.5 I have now which is 16 lbs. each.
The SSR GPOs are soooo nice though.

I like running at least +30 on an 8" rim.
The SSR GP-theta's (not "O" or "0") are not that light, but they are not that heavy either.
I think they are about 20#, which is not bad for a 17" rim.
They are also discontinued, so I think you should get it.

what offset are you using for the 17x9's up front. i hope they don't stick past the fender. and i was guessing that the 17x8's up front need to have either a +25 or +30 offset to look right. am i correct. by look right, i mean almost flush to the fender.
