FC Rear end swap DIY

any write ups on this? I'm picking a GTUs rear this weekend and wanted to know if there was a write up on how to swap it.

89 gxl if it matters

eh, its a PITA? you can get the diff out by itself with some fanagling.. i remove both subframe nuts, and pry it down onto jackstands to get it as low as possible, without coming off the studs. they unbolt the front/rear diff mounts and have fun trying to take that **** out.

or you can just drop the entire rearend. much easier to remove, harder to put back in.

yeah i have a complete rear swap, i will check it out, thanks. i will have to get an alignemnt after?

if you leave the control arms attached to the subframe (and dont loosen the bolts), it should be fine.
