Bleeding the brake lines

I was wondering if someone could tell me the correct way to drain and replace my brake fluid. So what im gonna do is go with what I think is right and someone correct me if im wrong. Start with the bleeder furthest away from the master cylinder and open it, push break pedal down, close it. Pull brake pedal up and open bleeder again then push pedal down, close bleeder. Repeat for each caliper until old fluid is out and new fluid is in. also how much break fluid does it take.

the order to bleed them in is= R/R, L/R, R/F, L/F. if you don't have a vacuum bleeder you will need another person to help you.

1. Have one person pump up the pedal until it is firm and hold it on (be sure not to let up or you will suck in air)
2. Open the bleeder screw and allow fluid to flow out.
3. close the bleeder and tell the other person to pump up the pedal again.
4. repeat 3-5 times per wheel.
5. without anypressure on the pedal, open the bleeder again and allow atleast 15 drops of fluid to drip out (this is to be sure you have all the tiny air bubbles out)
6. move to the next wheel.

It is very important that the master cylinder does not go dry, otherwise you will need to bench bleed the master and the whole system again.

Also, when you are all done, be sure the brakes are pumped up and the pedal is firm, or you might get in the car and have no brakes at first ( I have had this happen to me while using a vacuum bleeder and came 6 inches away from backing into a $50k truck, had to yank the parking brake to stop the car)
