FC alignment settings (mildly aggressive)

Hey guys,

I lost the thread I started where I was wanting to know what settings you guys are running on your FC's that are somewhat more aggressive than stock. I have

- Bilstein full coilovers
- Cusco camber plates (front), and pillow ball mounts (rears)
- Mazdatrix rear camber bar
- BF Goodrich G-Force sport tires all corners

I love to drive the mountains pretty hard but I also drive about 35 miles round trip everyday for work. I want to keep it where the steering is nice and sharp and I do not want to wear out the tires from crazy camber, toe and such like that.

So if you guys don't mind chiming in... I wanna know what setup you think I should run in order to get nice fun handling w/ the benefit of not ruining my tires at the same time. A healthy medium.

Thanks and I'm scheduled for my alignment on Saturday so if you could please post some input I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

-Allen G.

i like -1.5 front camber, 0 toe or slight toe in,stock caster. -1.7 rear camber, slight toe out for street setting. very mild and won't kill your tires, but still more responsive than stock.

2.5 front camber, 1 rear, 0 toe all around. caster isnt adjustable, no sense bringing it up (its ~4.5 degrees)

btw thats grip, not drift, altho they apparently have very similar setups.

I run a little more camber than the above two for the track, but that's a pretty good place to start.

I actually am at -3, -1.5 with a touch of toe out, but my tires show it, and he said he wanted a tire-friendly setup.

I have been running 1/16 of toe out in front, and 1/16 toe in at the rear.

-2 degrees camber up front (need more for the track) and -1 degree in the rear.

What camber plates are you guys running that can get -2.5 to -3 degrees camber up front? I will need to machine my plates to get more negative camber.

-2.7 deg camber front/ -1.3 deg camber rear
.27 deg total toe in front/ .43 deg total toe in rear

That is maxed front camber on JIC FLT-TAR

I just recently increased the rear to .43 deg toe in on the last alignment in a effort to get more traction exiting corners. It helped.

This latest alignment and the Mazdatrix "bump steer eliminators" has the car tracking very straight over all surfaces even on 255/275mm wide slicks!

Very confidence inspiring.
