extended ball joint question

extended ball joint question

does anybody know how far a 1.5" extended balljoit will push the wheel out? looking to get around 5 - 6* of camber. my setup is 18x9 +24. couldnt find anything and searched google and the forum for hours. thanks

at the top of the wheel, or the bottom?

it should be pretty easy to find out with some trig...

well there is only 1 balljoint, the lower balljoint for s4's...never took trig :/

Top or bottom of the tire... They'll move out a different amount

Dude.... the balljoint isn't the only thing holding the wheel on.

If you extend it, everything else stays in the same place ie the strut top mount... which is what gives you more negative camber. in this case the bottom of the tire is going to move slightly more than 1.5" and the top is going to move less than 1.5"

i know but you kept asking which balljoint as if there is more than one. you basically already told me what i knew but thanks i guess. i just wanted to see exactly how far the wheel would be pushed out and see how mch camber it would net me. but **** it i'll just get em an make em fit
