Enkei RPM2

Trying to get some input on this combo, and whether or not it's even doable. I want to put a set of 17x9.5 Enkei RPM2s on all the way around, and run 275/40/17s on all 4 corners. I was looking at the Yokohama AVS ES100 tires, Z rated. My FD has Tanabe Sustec Super-H Springs which provide around a 1.5" drop.

Any forsee any problems with this setup? Or any fitment issues? Anyone have any input on the RPM2s or the Yokohamas? Thanks.

The full package will run $1484 shipped.

Can you run a 275 on those? I'm running 8.5/9.5 f/r with 235/45 and 255/40 nitto 555s. With Tein RA's and dropped about 2" I had some rubbing issues. Bad ones. It's ok now. So long as I don't take a bump on a turn. The rears are fine, though I don’t know about that size. Hell, of you can, do it. Maybe I’ll put some bigger meat on there after all….

They look to have an offset of 40hb according to the site I am pricing them from.

You might have trouble w/ a 9.5" +40 and a 275 tire. Thats a tall, wide tire. Most folks running that size will do it on modular wheels, 10" wide w/ offsets around +50 to +52 (requiring coilovers)...

However, a 275 will fit on any rim from 9-11" generally... so it'll be OK on the back.

Hmm so I might have to step down to a 255/40/17 on the front eh? Bummer

How do you guys with the larger than 9" width get them custom? Do you have to order directly thought enkei?

That's really weird. They changed the sizes on the site. I still have the print out I made that shows 9.5 inch rims.

I called up Enkei and they said that larger sizes could be ordered through a distributor (Les Schwab, Rishie) from Japan.
