Differences between N/A and TII suspension

Hi.

I'm wondering what the difference is between N/A and TII suspension. Are the two types interchangeable? Could I buy TII shocks/springs and put them on my N/A car?

I'm wondering all this because i'm doing the five-lug swap and I'm not sure if I should buy N/A suspension or TII suspension. The car will basically have a complete TII drivetrain.

Thanks

There were many varieies of the N/A, and the suspensions were all different. The Sport Package models (86 & 87), the 88 GTU, and the 89 & 90 GTUs had identical suspensions to the TII. Others (i.e, 89 & 90 GXL w/ auto adjust suspension) were fairly close to the TII, and others with the "normal suspension" had a soft suspension that did not compare to the TII.

The chasses are the same on the N/A and TII, so the suspension components will be interchangeable. Basically, the TII had stiffer springs and shocks, larger diameter antisway bars, and 16" wheels.
