There are various places that specialize in that, but honestly I'd get a new wheel..... Sorry that happened

you can have the outer part of the rim replaced as long as the wheel is 3 piece. they will take the rim apart and replace what has been dented...might be cheaper than paying for a new wheel.

call my work and they might be able to have it fixed. just talk to dino at action autosports..909-738-0577 and tell him justin referred you.

that might make things a little more hard to fix but it might be able to be done. sometimes you can just have the lip fixed without replacing the the whole piece. give us a call or post a pic and i might be able to tell you what you can do.

hyper7,

How about the size of the rims? I don't know if all the 3 peices rims have the same outer-part size even if they are the same diameter and off-set. Do we have to find outer rim from rims of the same manufacture and size? Or, you can buy just the outer part or even custom-made one for the wheel.

sometimes the lips will be different as well as the unit itself, so replacing the one piece would be more likely done through the manufacturer. some people just dont like to go through the hassle and just buy a new wheel. if the wheel is bent a lot you are most likely going to have to buy the whole wheel since the outer lip and the inner lip would be damaged.

That's nasty!!!!

But, I've seen worse condition been fixed. I guess the shop I've seen cut those bend out and put another peice on. I'm not really sure.

There is a guy here in Auburn / Tacoma Washington, who can fix that up and you won't even be able to tell it was damaged. The company is called "The Wheelmaster".

what im saying is that the lip is not repairable however some places will state they can fix it but they will just end up putting on a new outer rim piece in. on a bend like that if the metal is pulled back into place the likelyness of the metal cracking or being stretched too much is rather high. ive seen people trying to bend back a bent lip similar to your damage and part of the wheel ends up snapping off.
