As the title says, i havn't gotten an answer from corksport, but does anyone know just how much width they add?

What is a proper fitting wheel size to run (sans spacer). Looking at a set of 17x9.5" Time attack TE37s right now.

for the front only of an FC?
they probably add almost an inch, say 20mm to be safe.
so you can run a 17x9.5 up front with a +20 to +15 offset
and anything from a 235 to a 255 tire.

out back,same stuff, probably a 255 tire on a 17x9.5 +35 under stock fenders or a +25 or +20 if you flare the lips or remove them completely and bolt up the corksport overfenders...but be sure to completely clear out the material that would normally be under the overfenders if you do decide to use them... they are deceivingly small.

17x9.5 +20 would be badass on an FC.
there is a guy with 255 azenis all around on 17x9 front and 17x10 rear enkei rpf1 on an FC with wide fenders, not corksport, but it looks awesome anyways.

i've already got a widebodied rear (hehe..thats what she said)...so i can probably fit a 275/285 tire out back...just need 2 match up the fronts.

Even with coilovers that will NOT fit with that offset. I'm running 17x9.5 255/40 up front with a +18 and 3mm spacer with some neg. camber and it's a tight fit. You'll need a lower offset with wider fenders, the 'cork sport' fenders are not wide enough for your setup.

^ is that what you are running with corksport flairs?

are you using the spacer to prevent the tire from rubbing the shock body or just to fill them out?

i was curious about this too so i contacted corksport. said that they add 15mm in the front and 10mm in the rear. not really a whole lot but they are just overfenders. there are companies that make full blown fenders (like mariah). they are really expensive (like $250 per fender) but with those you can run the same wheel diameter and offset in the front and back. oh wait...since you already have a wider rear, you probably couldn't run the same size up front even with the wider fenders but still it'll give lots more room, (i think its 30mm more but check mariah or a similar supplier to find out)

I contacted corksport also some time back and they emailed me,and wrote 1" for both the front and back overfenders.Sounds like they haven't an actual clue.

they are idiots and dont care much for FC owners.

the mariah fiberglass front fenders are nice and NOT vented, you can fit a 255 tire under them with a 17x9 +15 offset wheel and coilovers.

I have 255/35/18x9.5 +25 in the rear with no spacers and stock suspension with about 2 inches left b4 my wheel hits any suspension parts in the wheel well.
on my vert. The are preety much flush too.

Holy old thread batman. But I'll chim in too.

I run 17x9 27mm offset with 255/40/17 ecsta mx front and rear. I have the Corsport replacement fronts with 2.5" coil overs. I have very little clearance on the coil and about .5" to the inner lip of the fender. If one were to trim the inner lip out you could probably step up to a 265 or 275 with more camber an a decreased offset, I am only at about 1.5 deg.

I have 17x9's all around with 275's out back with stock fenders, no roll but they are close. you should beable to go higher than that

I'm looking into getting the overfenders for the front as well. The wheel I'm going to get is a 17x9 22mm offset with set of 255 40 17 RT615's. It seems that these should fit nicely with the overfenders. I was wondering if these will fit under the stock rear fender? Does anyone know for sure, or will i need overfenders for the rear as well?

Yes. They will fit.

Playing with some camber, and go with a 255/35

Overfenders are overkill for your sizing.

Corksport / Panspeed fenders do nothing. Literally.

You must cut/shave the stock metal fender underneath.

Otherwise it will be visual/looks only and it will look goofy.

I plan to do exactly the same as you (well, except tyre choice), and I believe it'll fit no problems. I am going to mod the fenders for extra room under the Pan Speeds though.

I'm not sure the +22 will fit in the rear (at least not without flaring the guards a little).
