While I prefer the term wheel also...the term Rim by definition is also correct.

Congrats. 1 out of the 3 defintion's are "correct". That fails in my eyes, wheel is the much more preferred term. Rim can also have many other meanings that's not even in the automotive world. Rim of the hoop in basketball for one example.
