Conquest TSI rims on an FC?

The previous owner of my car, Justpunk, said he could probably hook me up with some Conquest TSI wheels, maybe even for free. He was going to put some on it, and he has a friend with some who was going to give them to hime for free.

Anyway, they're 16x8 front and 16x9 rear. First, would these even fit easily on my car? What would it take? Of course, I'd keep overall diameter the same with lower-profile tires. Second, do you guys think they would look good? He was talking about spraying them flat black. If I get them, I'll either put them on next summer or just sell them. See, my parents are already paying for some new tires for my stock wheels, plus I don't have time to mess with this yet, as I'll be leaving for college soon (12 hours away).

So, what do you think I should do? You can see some of these wheels on the gold conquest here: http://www.emeraldsearch.com/starion/
You can also see just the wheel here: http://www.wheelcollision.com/images/W65684.jpg

This site says the bolt pattern fits: http://www.nellump.net/peri/epi/gen7...tPatterns.html

However, I don't know about the offset with these wider wheels. I'll keep looking.

Anyway, do you guys think they would even look that great? I'm having trouble picturing what it would look like.

I know the offset to be very low on those. Near 0. Therefore i do not believe they will fit.

Been there, done that. The offset is wayyyyyy wrong. But the idea of 16x8, 16x9 sourced from a parts yard for dirt cheap is EXTREMELY tempting.

Thanks, guys. If I do get them, I'll just sell them.
