comments on FD TEIN mono flex suspension and EDFC?
has anyone tried Tein mono flex on their FDs?? how do they perform??
i've heard some good comments about tein super streets, but havent yet heard anything about the Tein mono flex, these are supposed to be superior to the super streets

Also, has anyone had any experience with the tein EDFC? It allows in car damping force adjustment with just push of button while in the drivers seat. It has 3 memory functions so you can set one for city traffic driving, one for circuit work and maybe one for cruise

my FD is driven daily but gets circuit tracked very often, hence I thought EDFC might be good idea...
My plan was to do wheel alignment at track suspension settings.
And on the street when I adjust to higher ride height, I’m thinking the negative camber will actually reduce, therefore reducing tire wear?
Or are there side effects that may cause damage to the car doing it this way?
My dilemma is that I’ve got a steep driveway, my current STOCK suspension JUST makes it (i.e. have to drive super slow), but I definitely need stiffer settings for the track…

You do realize that the EDFC does not control ride height, only dampening settings?
FWIW, i find the EDFC to be worthwhile. . .it's only ~$300, and for my IS300, getting in the trunk to access the tops of the strut towers and having to pop the hood, and being as OCD as I am, having to do it 3 more times to make sure they were each exactly where I wanted them is really more of a pain in the **** than it ought to be.
Sure it's only a device of sheer convenience, no performance upgrade, but I find it worth it. If it controlled ride height, it'd be worth ~1K to me.
