Coilovers?

Hello,
Searched and found many mixed opinions. And alot of old posts. I plan to Drag Race/Street Race the most. Some backroad twistie Sunday drives will be accomplished as well. Its hard to pick coilovers to do both so thats why I am asking for help! Anyone's 3rd gen Rx-7 live this type of lifestyle? What coilovers are you using? I definatly want adjustables to drop the car 3/4 - 1".

Cant figure out between JIC, HKS, TEIN, or Apexi.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in Advance

From what I've heard, the HKS and Apexi coil-overs are WAY too stiff for street use (and their posted spring rates seem to support that!). Most people have said the JICs ride very, very firm but not harsh and are quality made. Although, the adjustment **** DOES stick up a little too far and has resulted in a few dented hoods! (search for the terrible pics...) The Tein HAs are simply not in the quality class of the JIC's, but are a bit cheaper. The TEIN RAs are good but, again, are very stiff for street use.

Take the JIC's, best bang for your buck. The rest are too stiff and the HA's are too entry level. Spend a couple hundred more dollars and you'll get a huge jump up in damper geometry and overall casing design.

Contact me for your club pricing on JIC. It will be better than what you see out there if this happens to be the suspension for you.
